I've done some (at least, what I think is) basic grammatical and
spelling corrections to the article. For a first draft, I found it a
good read and, almost entirely, quite clear. However, since I don't
have the hardware in question, I can't verify the article's accuracy.

I have one stylistic comment: the article uses Latin abbreviations
including 'i.e' and, more frequently, 'etc.' I would avoid using
these for two reasons: first, English is perfectly capable explaining
without falling back on other languages. I hope the author will
forgive me for replacing the an occurrence of 'i.e.' with its
translation, 'that is.' Secondly, when one uses 'etc.,' it glosses
over information which, although obvious to the author, may not be
obvious to the reader. Worse, 'etc.' was used in a few places to end
a sentence and start a new one which really belonged with the previous
sentence.

Anyway, my ignorant white guy suggestion is to expand the 'etc.'s to
their assumed items. If what 'etc.' is taking the place of should be
so obvious to the reader that you only really need mention a few from
the set, may I recommend a form like "go buy the usual groceries, such
as eggs, milk, cheese, and lettuce" as opposed to "go buy eggs, milk,
cheese, lettuce, etc."

On the whole, though, great article! I look forward to reading its
revisions. Good luck on your exams!
