Yup. *Anything* php-based is potentially insecure -- and the developer of
docbookwiki (Dasho) specifically mentions this in the documentation
somewhere.

Yes; and no. Yes, it is maintained; no it's not being developed any
further. Dasho is now concentrating on a better spin-off - docbookeasy.
