seems than the new computer is coming, I hope it don't come walking :-(

yes. we need to get a replacement for Guylhem as ldp coordinator.

As I see it, the "coordinator" should have as work to manage
discussions, that is try to keep them on subject, summarize the
discussion from time to time, eventually set a time limit then write
down conclusions. Of course, we still have to keep on the agreement
system (votations should be avoided as much as possible). Of course
this is only (rarely) when the agreement is not reached immediately.

He may also speak 'for' the ldp (on slashdot...)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

yes and no :-(

with two people, there is a great risk ov one thinking the other did
the job.

knowledge of passwds and server access must be (secretly) shared
inside the team not to be lost and any staff position holder should be
able to say if he can't anymore do the job (like Guylhem did some
years ago). may be we could state some sort of "latency time limit"
after which a replacement would be found, but I doubt this could work
reliably

there have been action done for years, quite silently. I read the list
for nearly ten years, now.

Problem is silence don't mean work is not done, but who knows when?

the wiki is good because (among other things), the recent pages shows
some sort of living evidence

However I remember the wiki existence having been strongly refused
several times (I my self, once, setup a tldp mediawiki, with very
little success)
