At one time I would have disagreed with you, unfortunately I've just
recently found out that nearly everything is based on HTML. The PS and
PDF doc's are based on HTML output and the text is HTML passed through
'lynx -dump', which explains why it's so ugly.
DocBook is only useful if we actually use most of it's features, for
some odd reason we aren't.
In answer to the one person that invariable says:
"But you can make books from DocBook."
Cool, but I know of only one author that's doing that and publishers
have a typesetting department.
