ESR has an abrasive personality, it comes out in his site, his
documents and his programming. Your not going to be able to change
him.

I'm totally against removing any documentation once it is in the LDP,
for various reasons that I'm willing to explain if required.

What exactly is bothering you and since it's in the wiki, why don't
you just change it?
