Yes, absolutely.
Although Grub is often preferred in conventional distributions,
especially Redhat-based distributions, except on hardware where Grub
didn't work (but Lilo does). There are still distros that use Lilo.
Moreover, Raidtools is still the only installed option on some systems.
In future versions it is deprecated in favor of mdadm, but it is not
entirely obsolete.
I am all for documentation being updated to document tools and options
provided by newer distributions
and newer software versions.
But destroying or "un-publishing" useful documentation for older
systems is not an admirable objective.
As the documentation is still useful for people working with systems
that run older software, that work,
which they cannot or do not want to replace with newer more-bloated
software distributions.
(Even if installing a new replacement system, the old software may be
used, because it just works (TM))
Documentation should simply be categorized based on what software it
applies to.
Even if different software is now much more popular for new installs.
