The wiki could be good and bad for the LDP.
Every extra technical opportunity is good for LDP but the questions is how
it would be used.
From the time I am interested in LDP I would say that LDP has lack of
volunteers, lack of reviewers and authors.
The situations will not change with or without the wiki. There are huge work
organization problems existing in LDP. And these problems are the root of
all other problems like the lack of volunteers and the bad old
documentation.
So, the current method of work is dependent on the number of reviewers and
since their number is not great this is causing a problem.
The incoming flow is like a buffer, the buffer waits for someone to empty
it. But there is noone to do that.
The solutions is to take a smaller buffer independent from anyone. And when
all the things inside the buffer become ready a chosen reviewer just review
the document. Probably this is a little confusing but it is just like the
real situation. The wiki could become this smaller buffer but of course it
should be properly managed.
