To build information for documents and get more input in the form of both technical questions and answers, consider a wiki with some of the features I describe here:

It would not be helpful for me to just throw more theories on the table without concrete tools to back them up, but it should not be too hard to run a wiki as a FAQ. That would encourage people to post questions and for others to build up answers by editing each other's work.
