Good idea. Near the end of 2006 LDP decided to put up a wiki on their
site. In the past I had been sceptical, mainly because we seemed to
lack the volunteers to maintain it. But there was so much enthusiasm
for it on the mailing list, that I thought that it might be maintained
OK and Sergiusz volunteered to do it. But it hasn't been even
established yet. And even if it gets created, who will be able to put
in the effort to properly maintain it?

There are wiki to doc-book converters but I think doc-book is overkill
for a wiki and that they should be converted into the much simpler
linux-doc format.
