I agree.
This is my main request - and I'm initially asking you to note the HOWTO is
deprecated and, ideally, move it to an archive page. Also to add a link to the
wiki as a service to LDP readers.
If that happens then the LDP is still hosting the LDP HOWTO - it's still
findable and, more importantly (from the RAID community point of view), readers
are sent to a more up-to-date information source.
NB I'm pretty sure I looked for an LDP wiki before approaching the OSDL
http://wiki.tldp.org/moin.cgi/LDP isn't good...

Thanks for the suggestion - but that's not the immediate point :)
I'm not after the LDP to publish a HOWTO (yet?) - I'm letting them know that the
approach being used is spreading misinformation - surely not what the LDP wants
to do :)
I'm initially asking you to note the HOWTO as deprecated and, ideally, move it
to an archive page. Also to add a link to the wiki as a service to LDP readers.
Do you think that this would be doable in the short term please?

As I intended.
Do bear in mind that I did not particularly intend at this point that the LDP
mirror the wiki or any specific page.

The history page does that.

OK - Would "copyright of authors" be OK.

There isn't one - it's a wiki

That's fine.
Also, since this is a wiki - I'd appreciate and support help adding those bits
of text if they'd allow the document to replace the current HOWTO - probably the
best bet.
