this is irrelevant. Poet says I HAVE done a programm translating html to 
docbook.

it's not a query, it's an affirmation. If it has been done, it is possible, 
no?

so take a copy of this program (not so expensive, may be you can have one 
free for review purpose) and test it.

may be it's not good, may be it has some limitation, but one can't only say 
"it's not possible". It has been done.
