Hello.

I have an idea of submitting a change to the ioperm(2) man page and I
haven't found info about its author/maintainer.

The matter is that the man page actually reads: "...The function may
be only called by super-user...". That is wrong. As per 2.4 and 2.6.18
kernel sources, it is clear that CAP_SYS_RAWIO is checked only for
calls with turn_on arg set to 1, and testing shows that non-root user
may successfully call ioperm to restrict access to certain ports for
oneself.

How can we make changes to this page?
