I am using the Encrypted Root Filesystem HOWTO that seems to be part of
the "Linux From Scratch" project.
It seems that the initrd on bootup is not recognizing any of the /dev
devices as devices. Keeps on saying "no such device or address" or "has
wrong device number" even though I performed the correct mknod in the
directory. Know what's wrong? The howto said to REMOVE the /dev/
pseudo-filesystem in the kernel. But how does it recognize the device then?

I'm confused. . .
