As you can see, I belong to the group of those who sleep over the winter
:-) What I would like to add to your 'Win-to-Lin-transition' document is
how to move/copy/translate a complete web site from Win to Lin. For
example, I run a W2k/IIS5/SQL2k site and would like to move it to Linux
completely. The issue is how to transfer web stuff where almost all is
done with M$ tools (HTM pages in frontpage, ASP pages in interdev etc).
Another catch22 is to transfer existing user logins' logs from SQL2k
format to MySQL or something else. Besides that, to translate W2k's
codepages 1250/1251 (Serbian Cyrrilic) to Linux (ISO) format etc. In
short, to make such a transition as easy as possible.

Regards,

Misko
